The polytrack® cooling system developed by thyssenkrupp Polysius is used in more than 130 cement plants worldwide. Its latest generation requires less energy and its simplified design shortens installation, inspection and maintenance times.

Clinker cooler modernizations and replacement of ventilation elements for better performance

To achieve the highest possible cooling performance and reduce energy consumption, we offer various options: Our experts will rebuild your entire cooler or replace only the aeration elements. The aim is to achieve improved clinker cooler performance. The modification of the clinker cooler is also possible for existing third-party equipment.

Huasheng contracted thyssenkrupp Polysius to modernize two kiln clinker coolers. thyssenkrupp Polysius delivered the modular cooler concept polytrack®.

Project description

SCHWENK Zement KG contracted thyssenkrupp Polysius to modernize their kiln cooler. thyssenkrupp Polysius delivered the modular cooler concept polytrack®. To reduce the plant downtime, the cooler was preassembled beside the existing cooler. After the disassembly of the old cooler the complete polytrack® was moved on rails into his final position.
